Posting Scores with Golf Canada

Posting your scores is important to maintain a consistent Handicap Index as part of the unified World Handicap System.

PLEAE BE ADVISED THAT THE ACTIVE SEASON (WHEN WE START POSTING SCORES) HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO: APRIL 1, 2022

The RCGA Handicap System enables golfers of all skill levels to compete on an equitable basis. The Handicap Committee within our golf club is responsible for all aspects of the RCGA Handicap System including the computation of each member’s Handicap Index.

As a committee, we will verify that all acceptable scores are reported for handicap purposes and that all recorded scores will be made readily available for peer review. Our goal is to promote fair competition.

Most Committee members, including the Handicap Chairperson, consist of members of the Chilliwack GC. 2022 Handicap Committee Members are (subject to change): Charles Emard, Colin Holding, Mike Helmer, Kaye Vandermeulen, Heather Meikle, Aaron Hale, Ryan Tofani

CGC Members should be aware that ALL SCORES, home and away, are to be posted by the player as soon as possible, or within (48) hours, after the completion of the round or before you play your next round.
