2024 Chilliwack Men's Open

 

Chilliwack Golf Club is excited for the 2024 Chilliwack Men's Open, slated for July 6 & 7, 2024!

It is with the support of participants, sponsors, and spectators, that this event is circled on the calendars of many premier professionals across British Columbia, and is the longest running amateur event in the province. Stay tuned for more announcements regarding the 2024 event, as it promises to be another great weekend.

TOURNAMENT DRAW:

ROUND ONE DRAW | ROUND TWO DRAW


The Tournament Draw will be available Tuesday, July 2, 2024 @ 4:00PM.

Please check back on Friday afternoon/evening to ensure there were no changes to the draw. We will do our best to make sure we limit the changes, but sometimes it's out of our control. It is your responsibility to arrive ahead of your start time.

Round two start times will be posted once all scores are in on Saturday evening - please avoid calling the Golf Shop on Saturday evening as the call volume is extremely high.

 

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION:
Tournament registration will begin at 6:00AM on Saturday, July 6th and will remain open until the last golfer has checked in. Raffle ticket sales ($20) will be available for various prizes, as well as Gross Skin's game sales ($40 total allocated as $20 per day). Registration will be in the Creekside Lounge prior to the start of your round (ATM on site if needed).

 

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS:
No refunds will be granted after 12:00PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2023.

 

TRAVIS MATHEW EXPERIENCE/TEE GIFT:
We are pleased to once again have the Travis Mathew Experience on site for this year's tournament. All Amateur golfers will receive a gift card to purchase/redeem for a item(s) of your choice at the TM Trailer.

Tee gifts can only be picked up on Saturday evening at the tournament party. It is your responsibility to pick up your tee gift; there will not be any additional times available should you miss your window.

 

CADDIES:
Caddies are permitted at the Chilliwack Men's Open.

 

LIVE SCORING:
For Live Scoring purposes, one player per group will be assigned to keep the group’s scores on their smart phone through the Golf Genius app. The log-in code (GGID) is a six letter code listed, this will be provided on Saturday morning at registration. Use this code to log-in through the app under “GGID” and your group’s scorecard will appear on your phone. There is nominal data used (a few 100 kb’s)

TOURNAMENT RULES & TIME PAR:
It is your responsibility to review the  tournament rules and conditions and print a copy for your reference.

Note: Hole #13 will be played from the Gold Tee deck on both Sat & Sun in this year's Men's Open.


TOURNAMENT PIN SHEETS:

It is your responsibility to print the pin sheet in advance. Pin sheets will be posted by noon, the day before the tournament.

TOURNAMENT PACE OF PLAY:

Chilliwack Golf Club has instructed the Vancouver Golf Tour "Rules Officials" to enforce the tournament "Time Par." Failure for tournament participants to follow the set "Time Par" will result in penalties being issued. Tournament "Time Par" guidelines are located in the Supplemental Local Rules.

TOURNAMENT FOOD & BEVERAGE:

Tournament participants will be provided with a meal and drink voucher (courtesy of Sleeman Brewery) for each day. These vouchers can be used before of after your round of golf. We kindly ask that once you are done eating to please give up your seat for other participants.

Breakfast will be available on Saturday & Sunday from 6AM to 11AM in the Creekside Lounge
Lunch/Dinner will be available from 11AM to 8PM in the Creekside Lounge on Saturday and in the Canex Pavilion on Sunday.

HOLE IN ONE COMPETITIONS:
Hub International Insurance has stepped up for the Hole-In-One competitions once again; you have 4 opportunities for $10,000 on both Saturday and Sunday! Fingers are crossed that one of Amateurs will walk away with a nice payday. All hole-in-one's auto renew should an ace be made.
