The first of many strong par fours
at Chilliwack, the 3rd hole requires length and accuracy.
The tee shot is through a chute
and should favour the
right center to avoid the very punishing fairway bunker
on the left. Only the longest hitters can carry the
bunker with their drive.
The 3rd green is
narrow, deep and well bunkered.
Approach shots require accuracy to reach the green
and good club selection to
avoid a lengthy putt over
the undulating surface. Even the best players are pleased with a
par 4 on the 3rd.
