The 16th hole is a medium length par four that demands accuracy and control.
From the tee, the player faces a demanding tee shot with out of bounds all down the right side. The fairway’s widest area is 200-220 yards from the tee. Beyond this point the fairway narrows and is very tight for those driving 250 yards or beyond.
The approach shot is to a harshly
sloped two tiered green where the upper left tier is protected by a
large, demanding bunker. Careful club selection is very important
as beyond the green is out of bounds.

#16 is
a stern, but fair, challenge as golfers near the end of their round.
Any player nearing the end of a good round is always relieved to make a par on 16.
