The par four 13th hole is another short hole that will reward accuracy and course management over length. 

The tee shot calls for strategy as one may hit short of
the large gaping fairway bunker (approx. 200 yards) to a fairly generous landing area or, in hopes of having a shorter second shot, attempt to thread the needle down the right side which is  bordered by water. However, even a shot down the right side should not be hit any further than 250-270 or the ball will go through the fairway.

The second shot is over the creek to a demanding, undulating green. As this hole is normally down wind, a shot hit from the rough will rarely hold the green. Many good rounds have been destroyed on this hole...par is a very good score.
